"I have breakouts a few times a month, but while using this product, they don't stand a chance. It dries out the skin, but follow with the lotion to help. I use it twice a day for about 2 weeks and just once a day the rest of the month. This is a great spot treatment and it works better than anything I've used before. I have sensitive skin and it has not caused any problems for me."

"i originally bought murad acne treatment kit for my 12 yr old daughter that was experiencing the typical teenage breakouts. we had tried proactive with her but it did not work for her. my daughter now uses the full murad acne treatment regime and has had wonderful results. i bought the acne treatment gel just for myself as an addition to my own regime. i love the feel of it on my skin which is still fairly oily and prone to breakouts. it took care of the oily texture of my skin and those few and far between breakouts. As well it has anti aging benefits because of the acid that is in it. we must keep things exfoliating ya know, especially at our age....anyway it's a wonderful product alone or w/the acne kit."

"This is the most gentle yet powerful product I have ever used! Far from drying out your skin, it feels so clean and new! Rough or discolored skin is turned over while I sleep and any pimples are significantly reduced.
The thing I like most about this gel is that with most exfoliators you either have to grind your skin off to get any benefits, or chemically burn off a layer and then rinse (if you can stand to wait the full 10 minutes). This is so gentle- clear smooth and non-burning, I never feel acid dipped or sand blasted!
If you are hesitant to try because of price, you can get a mini version in the acne kits- it lasts a really long time!"

Best treatment for facial wax gone wrong,

"Normally I stay tried and true to the Post-Acne marks regimen or the Sensitive skin acne kits but when my chin had the worst breakout EVER following an otherwise routine wax, I was mortified! I waited four days before I ordered my post-acne marks kit and selected the Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel as one of the samples. I was astounded to find that within two days the whiteheads stopped appearing and by four days (with the SAMPLE!) the acne was gone! It took a couple of weeks on my normal regimen plus the exfoliating acne treatment gel for the roughness to go away, but at least my skin was not disgusting and breaking out. BEST TREATMENT FOR POST-WAX BREAKOUTS!!!"

"Ok, in a perfect world I'd wish for something that works within 24 hours, clears the pimples and spots in an instant. I have been using Murad to close to a year now. My facial skin has improved considerably, I no longer dread close up pictures. But I wish there were a day I'd say goodbye to Murad, and have its effects last. You know like withdraw from the treatment well healed, cause it is kind of pricey. But for now, I guess we are happy. My skin and I that is-lol"

"I developed adult acne several years ago and tried every acne product I could find. Many products helped some, but they didn't take it away completely and they irritated my skin and caused me to develope little dry bumps all over my face. With my skin getting redder and redder, I sought the advice of a dermatologist who prescribed a medication for rosacea. The medication helped some, but was expensive and my insurance would not pay for it. I kept trying different over-the-counter products until I found Murad.
Murad worked so well that I've stopped using the prescription medication prescribed by my doctor. I've been using Murad for about one month now and my skin is clear. My pores are very small now and the blackheads are gone! It does not irritate my skin, even if I need to wash and reapply several times a day due to hot weather or exercise. This is the best product I've found after years of trying many different treatments.
My skin is so gorgeous now that I don't need make-up. What a liberating thing!"

"I am over 40 and have dealt with acne since age 11. In my late twenties I did the Acutane treatment through a dermatologist. It did make a huge improvement on the worst skin acne (the deep, sore, red blemishes). But as the years continued, so did the general acne. White heads, blackheads, and the occassional deep pore flare-ups. I have been using the exfoliating acne gel for about one full year now and my face has never stayed so clear for so long. Even though I use it twice daily, it does not dry out my skin...not even around my lips, which has happened in the past with "other" products. It just gives my face a soft clean look to it throughout the day. Plus, like an extra bonus, it helps control that oily look that comes at the end of the day. One year of clear skin...I think I have found my longterm solution!"

"This acne spot treatment gel really works. I have had breakouts that I could feel coming on, but not see yet. This gel has been able to keep the breakout from actually occuring and it has worked over night in some cases. I really like this part of the AcneComplex program. My skin has never been dried out by this product nor has any redness occured. I can really tell a huge difference in my skin just from using this part of the program, although I love the whole system. I carry the gel with me wherever I go in case I need to use a little."

"I am one of those people that has little bumps under my skin so even exfoliating the top layer of my skin doesnt do much good. this makes my skin a whole lot smoother looking and feeling than it would if i didnt use it. there is a TON of product for the price as you only need about 5 drops for your whole face. i even use this as my primer. I just wait till it dries then put some moisturizer and im ready for foundation. this product does what it says it is supposed to do. and for people who dont have bumps underneath the surface of their skin like i do...this product will be a MIRACLE worker. another thing is murad products never dry out my skin and thats very important to me."

"This product is something special... It has unique ingredients, which I believe is the key. It goes on smooth and dries quickly. It really makes your skin feel the final step in being clean.
