"This gel stings and is a bit harsh in the beginning, but it works. I do not naturally have lots of acne, only occasionally hormonal breakouts and it really helped me. I found, though that it may have been a little too harsh for my needs. If you have average skin, go for the T-Zone pore refining gel. But if you have consistent acne, this is probably your best bet."

"I use this as a part of the Acne Complex and find it very effective. I used to have baby acne all over my cheeks and forehead after using this product, I saw a significant improvement after only a few weeks. My skin is silky smooth now! I still break out on the odd occasion but not as badly as before, and for the odd breakout I do get, it doesn't take as much time to go away. I've had problem skin my entire life and have tried every acne product out there but Murad acne products are the only products that keep my skin clear."

"I cannot express in words how much I love this product! I have never had such great success with any acne fighting products out there. It cleared up my severe acne in a few weeks. It completely cleared up my forehead, I don't think I have had a pimple there since I started using the product a year ago! I still get a few on my chin area but they go away pretty quickly. It completly prevents breakouts. I never get huge clusters like I used to! It completely changed my life! I do want to warn that it may dry out your skin when you first start using it. Just space out when you apply it. Like do it just at night or every other night at first and work up to doing it twice a day. I got dry patches in the creases of my nose at first. So just beware it's a very powerful product!"

"about 8 years ago, this product was introduced to me by my esthetician. I had tried everything under the sun to rid my face of those gnarly blemishes. I hated being in my twenties and still having acne! My esthetician told me, 'If you use nothing BUT the Exfoliating Gel, it will help your skin, as well as I will see a huge difference when you come back.' (of course she wasn't saying don't NOT use the cleanser, or the moisturizer. she knows me, and how I rarely washed my face -at that time in my life- with anything other than a bar of soap. (which clearly WASN'T working for me.) To this day, I use Murad Acne skin care, and recommend it to the many teens I see that come through for facials. Normally, as a sort of guarantee that them, I purchase their first 30 day kit, and the results are so great for them by the time they are ready for a refill, they thank me and I can only hope that they pass on the information to others that had their same issues! :) This is the good stuff!"

"I highly recommend this product. I am unable to use traditional benzoil peroxide treatments and decided to try Murad's line for acne. I can't say enough about this treatment. In the summer I use it alone after washing my face as it tends to get oily throughout the day. At night I use a follow up oil-free moisturizer. During the winter, I always follow it with moisturizer. I've also started using it on my chest during the summer months to help with sweat breakouts. This really is the best daily product I've ever tried for acne. Prescription lotions and treatments don't even come close to the benefits of this one!!"

"This is great stuff! I used to get painful, deep deep under the skin acne and have three or four breakouts a month. Since I have started using this gel, I haven't had a breakout! It smells a little funny, but as soon as it dries the smell goes away. I found it using it twice a day dried out my sensitive skin, so now I only use it at night. I also use it on my back and neck to keep breakouts at bay. This product is definitely worth the money!"
