"When they named this product Gentle, they were right on target! This is by far the most gentle acne treatment I've ever used. It doesn't dry out my skin. I put this on after cleansing in the morning, put on Murad's SPF for face, and I'm reading to go for the day. If I'm going out, I just put my foundation on top of the two. My skin is never dried out. Thanks, Murad!"

"Over the years, I've used the Exfoliating Acne Gel. For me, it was a little harsh on my sometimes sensitive skin, even though it was only a 1% Salicilic Acid (I usually use a 2% lotion). Also, I am not one to sit around and endure the "gets worse before it gets better" with your skin. I completely understand how your skin needs to purge all the bad before the clear skin can appear... I just can't sit around and deal with that part!! :) I like seeing results and seeing that my skin is clearing up. Though I have occasional and very mild breakouts ever now and then, the Gentle Acne Treatment Gel and the Moisturizing Treatment Gel seemed to sooth, and clear skin with out the "gets worse" part, which I loved!!!
I use this gel every day, sometimes twice a day... cleanse, apply a thin layer of the Post-Acne Lightening Gel, apply a thin layer of the Gentle Acne Treatment, followed by the Skin Perfecting Lotion.
I've never really been able to "stick" to a skin care regimen... I like seeing results. If I am not seeing results within the first week or so, I usually move on. This product allowed me to use it once or twice a day, keeping my skin clear and not causing any irritation or dryness... it's a no brainer to use it for those reasons!! :)"

"This is the only thing I have used on my super-sensitive, acne prone skin that really works. I have the sort of skin that breaks out if you even just barely touch it with anything harsh!
It is minimally drying (though a good lightweight moisturizer is still a necessity), and has a smooth consistency. Good under makeup."

"This is the best moisturizer for my skin. I have never been able to use a moisturizer on a regular basis because they always lead to breakouts. This is truly the only moisturizer that I can use everyday that will not cause a new breakout. I find that a little goes a long way and it is worth every penny. I love this stuff and believe that anyone with acne prone skin can use this. I must say that it is gentle and light on the skin and may not be best for people with extremely dry skin. I highly recommend!"

"I have normal to oily skin with occasional break outs that for some unknown reason started popping up more frequently. I ordered this product and have been using it several weeks. It has helped to control the break outs and provides a nice, light-weight moisturizing effect. When a pimple does start to form, it goes away very, very quickly. "This is one of Murad's greatest inventions! Even though I have acne, my skin gets very sensitive because of all of the salicylic acid. "this is the best acne product i have ever used!!! i have had problems with bad breakouts for the past few years , but can never use acne products because they just dry out my skin and don't work well, no matter the quality of the product. this product never dries out my skin and my breakouts have almost completely cleared, leaving my skin soft, smooth, NEVER flaky or red. my skin is still moisturized after using this and looks so clear. i'm thinking about purchasing more of their acne regimen to get rid of the last little bit that is left. this product is amazing and i'm very impressed with murad!"
